ENGLISH: Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour Exclusions depart early in the morning, drive over Antalya through the Taurus Mountains passing the Salda Lake and arrival to Pamukkale "Cotton Castle" and have sufficient time for limestone terraces, ancient city Hierapolis, enormous necropolis and graves.Pamukkale (Hierapolis) ranks among one the oldest thermal cities of the world and famous for its white lime petrified cascades -calcareous formations- rise over 300 feet above the ground, with hot, mineral-enriched waters flowing down through the pools and rock formations. Nearby is the ancient Roman health spa of Hierapolis is visited where is located at the same area of Terraces. It is famous for its hot baths, theatre, agora, and remarkable necropolis. After the lunch in the afternoon, direction of the travel is back to Antalya. On the way there will be a stop in Tavas to see a carpet loom and learn the Turkish looming art.Return to Alanya and transfer to the hotels.
DEUTSCH: Pamukkale / Hierapolis zählt zu einer der ältesten Thermalstätten der Welt. Das Thermalwasser von Pamukkale bietet der Menschheit seit Urzeiten Schönheit und Gesundheit.Doch der eigentliche Höhepunkt dieser Reise ist das Naturwunder Pamukkale, welches als Baumwollschloss bezeichnet wird. Am Mittag erreichen wir Pamukkale und haben genügend Zeit für die Kalksinnterterassen und für die antike Stadt Hierapolis, der riesigen Nekropole mit etwa 3000 Gräbern und 3 verschiedenen Grabarten. Am Nachmittag geht die Fahrt wieder zurück Richtung Antalya.Unterwegs auf der Strecke in Tavas machen wir noch einen kurzen Stop bei einer Teppichknüpferei und lernen die türkische Knüpfkunst auf dem Lande kennen. Ein Tagesausflug wo Natur und und kultur aufeinander stossen.
